As an experienced Human Resources Professional degree qualified in Human Resources with nearly a decade of experience spanning across the private sector, public sector and higher education, I specialise in guiding individuals all over Australia to showcase their absolute best in pursuit of their next career milestone.

With a wealth of experience screening countless Resumes, conducting countless candidate interviews, and crafting precise position descriptions and selection criteria, I have honed in on a refined skillset as an adept job application support coach and writer.

Behind the person

The Resumes by Lana journey

Resumes by Lana was born when relocating to Canberra on a posting cycle as a defence (now veteran) partner, and rescoping what I wanted to do for the firt time in nearly a decade, after a fast-paced and super rewarding career in Human Resources.

Since then, I have assisted hundreds of clients across i ndustries all over Australia with the job application process, helped them understand their value in the market, negotiate their offers and translate their transferrable skills into new opportunities.

This has led to client results, including scoring multiple interviews and offers, salary increases of up to an additional 90k, and transitioning careers entirely at all ages.

Outside of the day to day, I actively seek out opportunities to volunteer my expertise in the community. I have delivered dynamic workshops for organisations within the not-for-profit sector, including The King’s Trust Australia, headspace and Happy Paws Happy Hearts.

On the weekends, I spend time with my two unhinged Australian Shepherds, Arlo and Baxter or learning something new on audible.
